Food is the most integral part of a festival, each festival in India marks variety of food that is associated with the celebration and being a agriculture led country most of the festivals in India bring on table food that are seasonal, fresh produces from the fields and are associated with some health benefits.
So today we are going to review a special Sadhya Meal – a vegetarian spread that is a special food spread of Onam festival from Kerala. This is consumed on a Banana leaf and as marked in my earlier blog each and every dish that is a part of this 20+ dishes Sadhya has a designated place on the Banana Leaf where it is placed.
Eventia Kitchen in collaboration with Shikha from #ChatpatiShikha had been curating special festive menu’s that are available on pre order for a limited time. Recently I have posted about their GujRaj Platter on the occassion of Ganesh Chaturthi. So this Sadhya is a new offering from this collab and they are the only one who are serving a Sadhya even after Onam.
Onam Sadhya, which in Malayalam means ‘banquet’ is a sensational multicourse vegetarian meal that features over 24 dishes on a banana leaf. Onam Sadhya is enjoyed without any cutlery and is usually eaten while sitting on the floor ,the meal that is had in groups that’s the format of eating and serving.

Plus delivery. This may sound like the costliest Sadhya in town but look at it like it’s a meal for 2 people so ideally it’s just Rs. 400/- per person and that’s definitely cheap.

Delivery all across Delhi NCR

My favorite thing from the Sadhya Meal is Payasam and I happy that this Sadhya comes with 2 Payasam boxes.
