Few places remain unexplored but have a lot to offer. While we stay at this side of the city and constantly keep exploring new places that are beyond just a good setting , actually more about good food.

As you enter the lobby of this Hotel right on your left you see this place with dessert counter right at the entry and undoubtedly that’s the hook. Though they have 2 more restaurants at this place but for now this is the one I LL talk about.

While we got seated we were offered a choice of drink and we opted for a Mojito with Cucumber and mint it was just the right start of the sumptuous meal ahead.

We were served a variety of starters from paneer tikka, Cripy fried veggies, spring rolls , dumplings. I just loved the Paneer stuffed mildly spiced dumplings with herbs and a chutney that was very distinct in taste to the one you normally expect.

While I am at a buffet I always take a round of the food spread and make my own list in my head to pick the stuff which I will eat and the sequence in which I will pick them , I think most of us must be doing it. But this place with it’s variety of Salads made it a tough choice for me. Don’t believe me have a look at the pic below.

I am going to particularly talk of 2 Salads here which were too good and different.

So while it’s universal that no one likes beetroot too much , at the same time we can’t ignore it’s health benefits. So this Beetroot Salad in a Melon square and small beads of agar agar was a perfect pick to have like a good amount of Beetroot with your food.

Since the slices were done in thin peices and melon ring was holding it together so was pretty convenient to eat.

Another of my favorite yet healthy pick from the Salad section was the Vegetarian terrine , well as the name goes it’s made of vegetable ,and loads of it off course. Minced borocolli and carrot settled in agar agar making small square was loaded. And it was easy to gulp so much of goodness of veggies in one slice

The Salad section had over a dozen of options to pick from in veg as well as non veg. I shwiftly shifted my focus on main course. And here again I LL pick 2 dishes to talk about which you must try.

#Grilled Polenta in Marinara sauce

I am sure you liked the presentation but you have to try this special dish to relish the taste and the health benefits. As explained by Chef Devender Singh , this is a very healthy version as it has makai ka atta ( Corn flour) and is a good option for people who want to substitute potato from their diet. The Marinara sauce enhances the taste by adding the required spices to this dish. And these cubes were very similar to a dish that I had in childhood made of corn flour.

#Spinach and Mushroom Cannelloni : Yet another healthy ingredients – the nutrient loaded Spinach that most of us avoid at home , was made in a very well cooked Cannelloni. Stuffed in the rolls with cheese this was very delectable and a must try too.

And bang comes my favorite section off course the Desserts and who doesn’t love the sweets.

A live size Chocolate installation was there that was eddible. And that sets the start of the sweet world at Promenade

With lots of options to pick from

I picked the following

  • Kesari phirmi
  • Dhodhi Halwa
  • Gulab Jamun
  • Mango alliance
  • Sugar free Oats pudding

And everything was worth the last bite. Dhodhi Halwa made of lauki( bottle guard) was very delicious.

And even the bread section that I missed above had a lot of variety.

So overall a great dinning experience with loads of good and delicious food. And the price is pretty affordable.

They serve brunch , lunch and Dinner buffet so all day long you can decide to indulge in food that is absolutely droolworthy .

And that’s the team behind putting an elaborate sumptuous meal day on day at Promenade.
