Ravi Pakistani Restaurant in Dubai

While in Dubai , we always get the stay in the Bur Dubai area which predominantly has a good percentage of Indians , pakistanis and so is the food option in this area catering to both communities.

You can find all kind of food joints all around ranging from Fine dining to street food options from across India and Pakistani food places. Many famous brands from India are present in this area.

So while I was meeting friends from India for dinner who had been in Dubai for last 6 years, they recommended this place as I mentioned that I crave for home made food and especially for Dal chawaal.

As they recommended this place for Pakistani style Channa Dal , here I was there just the next day to try it out.

This place is just opposite Burjuman Mall right on the main road.

The entire set up is pakistani with the interior done in green and white, art peices across the restaurant reflects a lot of Pakistani culture in it, with a open air and air conditioned inside sitting.

As I Picked a seat next to the road in the open as the weather was pleasant and had a look at the menu. The menu was dominated by non vegetarian dishes after all it’s a pakistani restaurant.

So since I knew what I wanted to pick I straight away went for the Channa Dal and Rice with a salted lassi.

And truly this Dal was very well prepared. felt the Distinctive taste in every bite and was so filling too. Perfectly spiced tasted yummm with plain rice and everything was under AED 20 .

Absolutely value for money and a must try on menu for vegetarian as well as non vegetarians.

They also do home delivery and I quite find this little vehicle pretty cute that delivers food Ard.

So if you are in Bur Dubai please do try this Channa Dal at Ravi restaurant.

A self proclaimed storyteller who loves food and is a health freak to the core. A person who has got a sense of humor to lighten up the most serious stuff. i love the life as it comes, planning is not my cup of tea since i am coffee lover. I brew my own jokes in all situations and love being my own audience. Happy go lucky is the attitude that i carry around. and i stay away from people who throw attitude(cant understand why they carry the weight of their attitude when all they can do is to throw it on others )
