Raasta at Green Park, New Delhi

Raasta-at-GreenPark-Bad-Boy-Veggie-burger-Food2go4-Food-Blogger-Review

Raasta represents  a way or path , and while I was just wondering for a good place to sit and have a cup of coffee with my colleague just before lunch at Green Park. Not having any energy left to drag ourself to Hauz khas Or Saket Malls,  we thought of having a coffee at this place.

I have heard so much about Raasta at Cyberhub and Hauz khas and have never heard of Green Park so as I saw this board, I insisted on going here. As we entered we were surprised to see the work in progress.

We 3 Sat down and ordered for our coffee 2 cappuccino and a KitkatShake .

While we were settling down on our coffee and already loving the vibes of this place we decided to go ahead with lunch here. This place was still work in progress so we were very not sure of the service.

3 of us with our own preferences on food ordered for a Salad, a pizza,  a burger as we all had guilt food on mind,  I showed some sanity by ordering a Salad.

#Salad Caprese : Most indulging and yet tasty with a loads of walnuts adding to the crunch and  taste and off course  nutrients. Just loved it. Boccocini with pesto sauce looked appetizing anyways and further arugula added to the nutrient quotient of the Salad.

Bad Boy Veggie burger

This is one of the tastiest and heaviest burger I had so far at a restaurant. The green pea Patty burger with lettuce,  cheese and served with French fries was really a task to finish it off. We were happy that we were 3 and all of us were really hungry.

Cuban black bean with Bao

Bao is the soft white bread,  and Raasta makes fresh bread everyday that’s what we were told and actually the bread was truly fresh. The Cuban black beans is a modernized version of Rajma made in Indian spices and trust me it was tastier than the homemade.

Next we had ordered for a Pizza

A thin crust pizza that was served with the perfect toppings, crispy and yummy to the core.

Well coming to the most interesting part of the Food off course the desserts though we all were full , what catch hold of our eyes was the Raasta special cake when we asked what’s special about it, we got the answer it’s a chocolate cake in Raasta color, and we were like,  let’s have it.

The Cake was a painted version of the logo with same colors and great texture.

And we have heard from our colleagues about the soft,  delicious Red Velvet Cake served at Raasta Hauz khas, so we ordered for  Red Velvet Cake as well. And trust me it was heavenly. It was worth these extra calories. And we were helpless as we had have so much food. So we stayed there for another half an hour to let the food settle down and then we walked our way till the metro station.

This was my first Raasta experience and truly loved the food to the core,no wonder this is their 3rd outlet I know of. And I am surely going to try the other ones as well.

Such service while the restaurant was not officially operational speaks volumes of dedication of the staff.  And such seamless service while the store was still done. And the way the store is designed is always very nice. They are also having a Roof top open terrace which was not done while we visited the Restaurant.

A self proclaimed storyteller who loves food and is a health freak to the core. A person who has got a sense of humor to lighten up the most serious stuff. i love the life as it comes, planning is not my cup of tea since i am coffee lover. I brew my own jokes in all situations and love being my own audience. Happy go lucky is the attitude that i carry around. and i stay away from people who throw attitude(cant understand why they carry the weight of their attitude when all they can do is to throw it on others )
