Story about After Stories Gurgaon

Just Next to Iffco Chowk , This place has great vibes and ambience on offer with amazing food option and Freshly brewed beer for the beer lovers.

As you enter this property the Open air garden sitting takes you over by it’s splendid setting. While it was sunny outside , I was still tempted to be seated here. So a great hangout option for Nature lover.

And as you open the door the place inside is not any less intriguing and cool either.

The chandelier guides your way to the floor above and the whole glass on sides lits up this place with natural light and that’s really soothing even in hit Summers.

Now let’s move to food as that has a delicious story to unfold.

So being a non alcoholic person can’t really say much about their fresh brews but people who were having really liked it. I found this Kala Katha Moctail quite interesting. Off course who doesn’t like Kala kathaa

Kala Kathaa Mocktail @ Rs. 245/- : We have all loved ice crushed lollies dipped in the colorful sugar syrup ,dipping in and slurping but when I got an option of having that to drink all by myself , I was super kicked. And had ordered for 2 ( with and without ice ). Like a kid looks for colors in a rainbow ,I had fun seeing the colors of the drink change as the ice melted in it and this was much interesting than the boring yellow or orange mocktails that I always have

Vegetarian food options talks of the quality of menu and detailing on creating good eating option for a restaurant And I always love when someone has a wide range of veg options over non veg option.

Crispy Alloo Sabudana with vindalo curry for Rs. 325/- A Alloo lover can dig into any form of potato dishes , and this one was loaded with my favorite ingredients Curry leaves and sesame seeds. The flavors were amazing and I truly loved it. Don’t order if u can’t handle potatoes.

Dahi Stuffed Palak k Kabab @Rs. 325/- : And I judge a place by the expertise in making Dahi kabab. The place that makes it well scores a 10 on 10 from me. This is a delectable dish that needs a great level of expertise in doing it right and the ones were just melt in mouth kind of kababs. You can definitely pick them up.

Falafal with Pita bread and Hummus @ Rs. 275/- : This is another deal breaker with me, if the patties are crispy and hummus is fresh that restaurant has me. And this was by far a good pick.

Achari Paneer tikka with roasted papad crust @Rs. 325/- Moving on to a paneer starter how can a vegetarian not have the Mecca of Vegetarians akka paneer starter. And this one was one of the finest achari Paneer Tikka I had lately. Soft , perfectly spiced, flavors till the core and very less oily made it stand out and melt in mouth like anything. Worth a try, see I missed clicking before having it.

After having such delicious starters I was seriously done but then have to check out the main course too. So here it goes. And when you are in group you can have order more without the fear of wasting it.

Mumbai style vegetarian Manchurian with sichuan rice @Rs. 395/- : if you love machurian you will love this too, though I can’t figure out the Mumbai style in it.

And the big order of Indian food by the gang while I saved myself for the desserts

Desserts

# Chocolate Fondant with Vanilla Ice cream @Rs. 225/-

# Chocolate & Walnut brownie with Vanilla Ice cream @Rs. 275/-

#LunchTime Churros @ Rs. 225/- : Loved this to the core and loved it more with the vanilla ice cream than the fresh cream that it was served with. I finished one plate by myself and it was delicious. I am definitely going to come back to After Stories for this particular dish and could literally crave for it while writing this blog.

Overall a great place to hangout at. Serious recommendations to try from this place are Kalla katta if you like the flavors, Churros in dessert , Achari paneer Tikka and crispy Alloo Sabudana undoubtedly.

A self proclaimed storyteller who loves food and is a health freak to the core. A person who has got a sense of humor to lighten up the most serious stuff. i love the life as it comes, planning is not my cup of tea since i am coffee lover. I brew my own jokes in all situations and love being my own audience. Happy go lucky is the attitude that i carry around. and i stay away from people who throw attitude(cant understand why they carry the weight of their attitude when all they can do is to throw it on others )
