This is one of its kind of Food festival in this part of Noida , definitely had huge expectations since most of the Food festivals in Delhi NCR are limited to South Delhi and Gurgoan. So while we had a chance to visit in on the day 1 of this 3 day fest , It was a decision without a second thought to visit it and give a shout out to friends and family to plan the weekend.

So here goes my first day gastronical journey at The Gourmet Shack at ELP Food festival.

Started with my kind of Mocktail – Watermelon Treat , A refreshing mock-tail with chunks of fresh watermelon, watermelon syrup, lime juice, soda  and mint leaves. Just a perfect pick to begin the evening at ELP Food fest with live music band playing right in front.

Cost Rs. 350/-

And since it was early evening so got my yet another perfect pick for the starters – Quesadilla – an amazing assortment of veggies in cedar cheese wrapped in a tortilla bread perfectly grilled and served with a dip that was sweet and tangy – freshly made closer to a homemade version and just complimenting the quesadilla.

Cost Rs. 350

One can never take the north Indian out of me at a food festival. One thing that grabbed my eyes on the menu was the Indian menu and first dish from this section Purani Dilli ke Mashoor Chole Bhature  Isnt it already a close ended sales pitch, how can one not try this when its famous too. 2 delicious bhature served with a bowl of chole, onion , mixed pickle and a green chilli.

Cost Rs. 250/-

Trust me this was divine.  Freshly made bhature is a guilt worthy indulgence which you can only regret latter So relish it before you get on the guilt trip wit extra calories.

Overall a great experience at The Gourmet Shack counter and i didnt realised i had spent almost an hour at this place enjoying the evening , the live music complimented with food.

Tip – Dont visit too late in the evening as the entire place gets too crowded so you might not getting sitting for sure. but delicious food and drinks keep pouring all the time.

A self proclaimed storyteller who loves food and is a health freak to the core. A person who has got a sense of humor to lighten up the most serious stuff. i love the life as it comes, planning is not my cup of tea since i am coffee lover. I brew my own jokes in all situations and love being my own audience. Happy go lucky is the attitude that i carry around. and i stay away from people who throw attitude(cant understand why they carry the weight of their attitude when all they can do is to throw it on others )
