The Flying Saucer Gurgaon

The Flying Saucer, in sector 29 Gurgaon (‘Gurugram’) is an amazing hang out option for young couples,  friends or just any meeting. They serve some amazing drinks and fingerliciously good food,  great service and most of all a combination of open air  and indoor sitting.

Well if title made you thought that  this is yet another Japanese Dine in place where you will have a live kitchen  in front of your table and the saucers will be flown to your table by a juggler chef then my friend you are absolutely right , This is not one such place and you were just thinking of rather I made to read that to think like that.

My Drink – Virgin Colada

While I said they serve amazing drinks I was referring to some really cool cocktails I saw my friends having while I just loved my virgin Colada more than the virgin Mojhito of the world.

Snacks

In hanging out places like these I always have more of snacks and move to desserts skipping the main course.

Stuffed Tandoori Soya chaap

Soya chaap stuffed with cheese and roasted to perfection in the tandoor is a great pick here. Better than all the soya dishes you might have had at wah ji wah.

Vegetarian Mezze platter

These days this is one of my favorite pick from the Mediterranean cuisine. I am in love with freshly made humus and pita breads along with the Lentil tikki that is a part of this platter. This one was a bit oily but still good to go. All deep fried stuff always tastes the best.

Pizza

Pizza is something that should be had with out a click and yes this yummy one was a very thin crust cheese loaded delicious one.

Bruscheta

I think like Paneer Tikka Even a Vegetable Bruscheta is becoming a staple. Loved this one with variety of topping.

These rolls made in form of cigars floored us as they were floored on our table. Such a quirky presentation that it was click at sight. Good on taste too.

Dahi Kababs

A place is know by the Kababs they serve as if a place gets a Dahi Kababs right they can get almost anything right says who?  You ask. Well that’s my theory.  Liked the Kababs but they could be done even better,  presentation was great.

Desserts

Cigars stuffed with Jalebi

When you love jalebi and you see such a name on the dessert list,  you are already drooling,  Yaaa that’s me and the moment this arrived, I picked one in both hand and finished it in less than a minute. That’s what a good dessert do to you.

Great place to hang out if you are lucky and Delhi weather is by your side pick a outdoor sitting else the well light Rather lit like Diwali the inside.

I feel this place has lot more romance in the air so strongly recommended for a romantic evening for dinner.

And even with a huge sitting corners it’s ideal for a get together or a office evening out for lunch or dinner. At a go they can house around 20 people on a table and couches.

The Flying Saucer Cafe Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

A self proclaimed storyteller who loves food and is a health freak to the core. A person who has got a sense of humor to lighten up the most serious stuff. i love the life as it comes, planning is not my cup of tea since i am coffee lover. I brew my own jokes in all situations and love being my own audience. Happy go lucky is the attitude that i carry around. and i stay away from people who throw attitude(cant understand why they carry the weight of their attitude when all they can do is to throw it on others )
